"Jutting out over Monterey Bay" and within "walking distance to the shops of Cannery Row and to the aquarium", this "luscious" location becomes even better when you "pay a little extra" and "get a corner room" with "views of the ocean"; you'll have "the area's best sea otter" sightings (and maybe "a hawk sitting on your window ledge"), go to "sleep with the sound of seals barking" and enjoy a spa with two rooftop hot tubs; but a few find "motellike" quarters and "limited" facilities.

Everything! Terrific location, Great hotel!
Excellent location, withing walking distance of downtown Monterey. Our experience was outstanding, great hotel, rooms, and service. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great hotel, loved the setting, convenience and the staff was very friendly and helpful, room was great!
Parking was valet, away from the hotel is not accessible.
Hotel staff was awesome, the room was clean, bed comfortable, towels nice and fluffy, and hotel restaurants breakfast was outstanding as its service. I told all my coworkers when I got back. Great place.
